
The City of Hodgenville is served by a mayor and six
council members. The mayor serves a four-year term and the council
serve two-year terms. LaRue County is served by a county
judge/executive and four magistrates. The judge/executive and
magistrates are elected to serve four-year terms.
The council meets on the second Monday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Hodgenville
Senior Citizens Center.
LaRue County Fiscal Court consists of a county
judge/executive and four magistrates who are elected to four-year
terms. The court meets twice monthly on the second and fourth Tuesday
at 9 a.m. in the small courtroom.
The LaRue County Industrial Foundation meets the first
Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m. at the courthouse.
The LaRue
County Chamber of Commerce meets the first Tuesday of each month
at 7:30 a.m. at the Chamber of Commerce office.
The Chamber is a 120-member (business and individual) organization
that strives to enhance the progress of the community. It is governed
by a group of elected officers (president, vice-president,
secretary, treasurer) and a board of directors.

Annual business license fees levied by the City of Hodgenville vary
according to the type of business and range from $25 to $500. A $50
truck loading and unloading fee is required annually.
